The Kahurangi Estate story

Welcome to Kahurangi Estate

Kahurangi Estate is a New Zealand family owned boutique vineyard specialising in hand-made wines. The vineyard was first established in the early 1970’s and has some of the oldest commercial vines in the South Island. The Day family purchased the vineyard in 1998 and changed the name to Kahurangi Estate.

Outside courtyard dining when the sun is shining and inside fire lit dinning on rainy days. The Cellar Door is open for wine, port sherry and cognac tasting 7days 10.30am to 4.30pm The kitchen is currently open 7days for lunch 11.30 to 3.30pm (summer hours)

Of course you are welcome to taste it at our cellar door or even enjoy a glass poured over icecream rolled in ground coffee, dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts...
Cellar Door is now open 7days for lunch & tastings untill the end of February.
