2007 Chat en Oeuf - French Grenache Syrah

This is a warming and spicy red from the Côtes du Ventoux, next to the more famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Made from Grenache and Syrah grapes, it shows some lovely, ripe berry fruit flavours and soft tannins. The name is a play on words and translates as ‘cat on egg’! |
