Kahurangi Estate is a New Zealand family owned boutique vineyard specialising in hand-made wines. The vineyard was first established in the early 1970’s and has some of the oldest commercial vines in the South Island. The Day family purchased the vineyard in 1998 and changed the name to Kahurangi Estate.

'Club Night' with Kahurangi Estate

The North Shore Wine & Food Society club nights are normally the second Tuesday of each month. This provides an opportunity to learn and appreciate more about wine through an organised tastings. These tastings are lead by Guest Speakers, along with dinner and tasting there is a chance to purchase the wine. Wines presented are an interesting variety and typically those not normally found in supermarkets. This month Samantha Day our Auckland Represtative (and daughter to Greg and Amanda Day - owners of Kahurangi Estate) will be presenting a selection of Kahurangi Estate wine and some of our finest imports. Kahurangi Estate Long Lunch 2012

We are now taking bookings for the Kahurangi Long Lunch 2012. The Long Lunch is held annually to celebrate the beginning of harvest and to showcase exclusive releases of Kahurangi wine. There is also the opportunity to sample some of our international selection. This year our guests will have the privilege of trying the exclusive release of Montepulciano 2011, Mt Arthur Reserve Chardonnay 2011, & Syrah 2011 all expertly matched with our guest chef's 5 course degustation lunch.
The event will be held over two days Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2012
12.30pm at the vineyard.
$90 per person includes a glass of wine with each course
