At the Annual Nelson Winegrowers Dinner, we were honoured to have been awarded the Colin Harrison Memorial Trophy for Nelson's Best Chardonnay of the year. It was awarded to our 2012 Mt Arthur Reserve Chardonnay. It was a very close competition between some of the Nelson regions winegrowers of which 18 different Nelson Chardonnays were entered into this award. We are thrilled to have this Trophy and proudly display it in our Cellar Door.
At the 32nd Annual Sydney International Wine Competition, our 2011 Syrah has been awarded a Blue-Gold Medal and is amongst the Top 100 wines in its catagory.
Fantastic results to add to the Silver Medals and 4 stars it has already received! You can only purchase this wine at our Cellar Door now as we have limited amount of stock left of this award winning wine.

Cuisine NZ Syrah - Wine Tasting 2012
In the latest Cuisine tasting panel, our 2011 Syrah was awarded 4 Stars two weeks after the wine was bottled! There were 69 entries that were tasted blind, the panel awarded 4 wines with 5 Stars and a further 10 wines were awarded 4.5 or 4 Stars. From the Top 14 wines in this Tasting only two were outside the region of Hawke's Bay, one from Nelson (our Syrah!) and the other from Waiheke Island.
Here is what they had to say about our Syrah - 'Nelson , indeed. This wine region's remarkable versatility is showcased by Kahurangi's delightful, fresh expression. Lovely florals and a settled, fleshy mouthful come wrapped in vibrancy and colour. "I love the sweet fruit elegance," noted John Belsham.'
If you happen to be in the Nelson region, make sure you stop by our Cellar Door to taste this delightful wine, it will certainly match well with one of our wood fired pizza!
