Winemaker's Notes

Vineyard - Grapes picked from a selection of our contract growers in the Moutere Hills and Waimea Plains.

Soil - Moutere Clay mixed with some stony alluvial soils.

Vintage Conditions - Although growing conditions were less than ideal with sporadic rain over vintage, our low crop levels and diligent vineyard husbandry produced our  Chardonnay with great flavour and finesse.

Harvest Date - From early April 2018

Fermentation / Maturation - Lightly oaked with partial malo - lactic ferment.

Alcohol - 13.5%

Residual Sugar - 1 g/L

Total Acidity - 5.6g/L

Cellar - 4 years
