Vineyard - Kahurangi Estate Home Block
Soil - Moutere Clay
Vintage Conditions - It was a challenging growing season. A longer than average flowering period with a cooler summer temperatures. Harvest started later than usual with careful vineyard management the fruit was looking great. Midway through vintage the region experienced several tropical storm systems, which doubled the average rainfall for this period, but our selected grapes came through in surprisingly good condition.

Fermentation / Maturation - Stainless Steel with cool fermententation
Alcohol - 11.0%
Residual sugar - 12 g/L
Total Acidity - 10.1 g/L
Cellar - A wine to enjoy now or over the next 5 years.
Serving Suggestions - A perfect aperitif or well matched with cheese.
