Vineyard - Single vineyard on the Nelson Plains
Soil - Stony alluvial soils.
Vintage Conditions - An outstanding vintage with perfect conditions. Phenolic ripeness was reached earlier than usual, resulting in one of the earliest harvests in the Nelson region. Resulting fruit was ripe, clean and in excellent condition, producing wines which express vibrancy, fruit concentration and complexity.

Fermentation/maturation - 100%tainless steel fermentation with no malolactic fermentation
Alcohol - 13.5 %
Residual Sugar - 3 g/L
Acid - 6.9g/L
Tasting Notes / General Comments - Clean tropical characters with stone fruit flavours balanced with hints of lime and a fresh finish. A lovely, refreshing crisp wine with no oak influence.
Hue - Crisp Light Straw
Nose - Ripe nectarine and tropical fruit
Palate - White peach, nectarine with a hint of green apple.
Length - Crisp and lingering
Cellar - A fresh Chardonnay enjoyed in the summer or cellar 3 years to develop rich, honeyed characters
Serving Suggestions -Serve chilled with a summer smoked chicken salad, or simply enjoy a chilled glass at the BBQ
