Winemaker's Notes

Vineyard -From a selection of our growers grapes in the Nelson    Region, hand made and blended at our Upper Moutere Winery.

Soil - A mix of Moutere clay and stony alluvial.

Vintage Conditions - A stunning grape growing season for the 2019 Harvest. A dry Spring, followed by a hot and dry Summer with a little bit of rain just before harvest   began, resulting in intense flavours and ripeness in the grapes and wines.

Harvest Date - Late March through to Early April 2019

Fermentation/maturation - 100% Stainless steel

Alcohol - 13.0%

Residual Sugar - 5.0 g/L

Total Acidity - 9.4 g/L

Tasting Notes / General Comments - A subtle nose of limes and grapefruit, the palate is well balanced blend of apples and tropical fruit resulting in a crisp easy drinking wine with great structure.

Cellar - Drink young and fresh or cellar up to 2 years

Serving Suggestions - Serve chilled with fresh oysters, new season's asparagus and salads.
