Vineyard - Two selected vineyards from the Nelson region.
Soil - Pinot Noir grapes grown on two selected vineyards in the Nelson region that reflect their own unique impression in our final blend.
Vintage Conditions - A cold December and dry Summer resulted in poor flowering and low yields throughout the Nelson region, however the region had excellent growing conditions through January onwards leading to an early start to harvest. This 2015 harvest with low yields has resulted in excellent wines displaying high fruit concentration, elegance, vibrancy and purity.
Harvest Date - 21st March 2015
Fermentation / Maturation - Initial fermentation in open fermenters with hand plunging for 4 weeks then 100% French oak barrel maturation over the following 11 months
Residual Sugar - < 2.0g/L
Total Acidity - 5.7g/L
Cellar - 5 years
