Quality - Undated white port
Wine Region- Douro Demarcated Wine Region, situated in the North of Potugal and composed ot the Douro Valley and its tributaries.
Soil - Schistous
Alcohol - 19% Vol.
Total Acid -3.53g/L.
Fixed Acid - 3.23g/L.
Residual Sugar - 99.9g/L.
Vinification / Aging - In closed fermentation tanks. Fermentation was interrupted through the addition of grape brandy in order to preserve a degree of natural sweetness. Aged in Wiese & Krohn's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the Atlantic coast, under the control of the Douro and Portwine Institute.
Grape Varieties - The traditional varieties of the Douro Region for white Ports, such as Códega, Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Rabigato.
Tasting Note - Golden white in colour. Pleasant fruity aroma, sweet and full on the palate.
How to enjoy- Drink before a meal on its own or with cheese and nuts. Try it also with almonds sauteed in olive oil.
